About a certain journal rule…

So I’ve been writing a poem every weekday for National Poetry Writing Month. I would upload each poem here, but sometimes many publications don’t accept work posted to your personal website. Why?

I would love to post finished pieces and poetry I’m working on and things like that, but the fact the so many places don’t like to publish things already on your personal site makes me hesitant.

To be completely frank, I think I’m going to post a lot of work here anyway and just cross that bridge when I get to it. This is my website and I’d rather have the freedom to post whatever I feel like posting. I can just send things that weren’t posted here to places like that. Either way, get ready for a lot of shitty poetry.
