TikTok 7: I didn’t really try that hard today

It has been a long day. I was sick the past few days and I was trying to catch up on a lot of things all at once. I had planned to read some of the articles that I had mentioned in the last post, but so many were behind paywalls and that bummed me out. This article was about TikTok but it was really long and I don’t have the time to read it right now. I will look at it over the weekend and get back to you.

I plan to use this to influence my own writing, to see what the conversation around both TikTok and social media as a whole is before trying to delve into an avenue that seems new to me. I’m mainly looking for how people who are into this topic do their investigation and info collection, and how they present that info. How do they write their essays about these things? And how can I adopt some of those elements in my own writing? I’ve done this before, but mostly with fiction writing. Doing it from a non-fiction angle is a bit different for me, but fun. I’m enjoying this. I hope you are too.
